(111,437 posts)I think I made it once and it was definitely edible, thin and crunchy cookie surrounding a pile of chocolate chips and pecans.
However, it wasn't cookies, so I read the recipe more carefully the next time. I think I must've been about eleven.

My friend gave me a recipe for the best chocolate chip cookies in the world. It's 3 freaking pages long. But they ARE good. And pretty.

(31,540 posts)recipe in my mom's old cookbook. It never did harden like it was supposed to and had the consistency of raw egg whites. My sister called it "cinnamon snot".
