Related: About this forumHypothetically, let's say you haven't used your rice cooker in a while,
so you haul out the Zojirushi and fire it up, but you forgot the proportions you used to use and now you have a lot more rice than
you planned on. Cups and cups of the stuff.
What would you add it to, or add to it?

(29,414 posts)It fits about the same width as my freezer and I keep it in there only a few hours. Once it's frozen, then I crumble it to get rid of clumps and just put it in whatever containers I have. Gallon-sized ziplocks work well

(29,098 posts)There are lots of recipes on the web even for Vegans.
Also extra rice is nice to mix with ground meat and chopped veg to stuff other veg. Peppers, tomatoes, zuchinni.
You can make an easy mocked stuff cabbage by layering tomato sauce, shredded cabbage, browned ground meat, and rice in your rock pot.
