1. DH picked up some deeply discounted lamb chops yesterday.

They are his favorite. Weather is going to take the grill out of cooking option, so I think I might roast some potatoes, brown the chops and finish them off in the oven with some tomatoes.

Having fun using the leftover food from reunion and trying to be a little more creative.

2. The black bean burritos I didn't make last night

3. Parmesan Crusted Tofu over Risotto with pancetta sauted chard.

4. Shopping day. Broiled, black peppered strip steak w/red onions.

(I'll have half tonight and sliver the rest for a toasted sandwich tomorrow.)

Corn, mashed potatoes and the fresh shopping treat - cantaloupe, raspberry & blueberry w/feta cheese on Romaine lettuce.

Pecan sandies.

5. Just got home from visiting my Mom. We went out to a Chinese restaurant

for lunch and I made myself a soy dog when I got home . Oh and I ate a piece of cake, too.

6. Fellow Foodies

I had a bowl of vegetable soup topped with coriander and horseradish sour cream as an appetizer.

In a bit I will have some meatloaf.

Cold tonight. This is good cold-weather food.
