So my neighbor offered me her green grape crop....

.....and I tasted one. Sweet, but not seedless. Any idea how those could best be used? The seeds are big enough to be a nuisance but not big enough to pit like I would do a cherry.

And I don't want to buy any special equipment.

But not sure I want to devote the time to that.

OTOH, I wonder if squirrels would eat them. I could take them to the nearby park.

I hate to just see them go to waste if they could be nourishing some living thing.

Bite a grape in half, dig out the seeds with your teeth and spit them out, and eat the two halves. I didn’t encounter seedless grapes until college.

well, early 1900s. Etiquette books used to advise eating the grapes (after using one's grape scissors to remove a small cluster), then discreetly spitting the seeds into one's napkin or handkerchief.

We had a huge Concord grape vine in the house where I grew up. My mother made jelly from them, cooking the grapes with their skins and seeds, and then pushing the whole mess through a cheesecloth to remove the debris. We kids would eat the grapes outside and just spit out the seeds - the same as we did with watermelons.

A bit of brown sugar and butter (for browning better).

Get one of those big returnable type water bottles.

Fill it with grapes 1/2 to 2/3 full.

Pour in lots of sugar.

Put a balloon (which will need replacement periodically because of acids eventually causing it to degrade) over the bottle opening.

Watch it brew.

Strain and contain.

Share.

My Grandma used to make this recipe (or very similar)

Seems a strange combination of ingredients, but it’s delicious.
The wine idea sounds great!
