What's for Dinner, Fri., May 12, 2023

Apple fennel salad with goat cheese. Balsamic dressing. Arugula rustica, romaine, simpson lettuce.

Sweet pickled turmeric-red pepper cauliflower.

Thinly sliced turkey on naan bread with chipotle ranch and crispy turkey bacon. It's served like a taco.

Last night's restaurant experience was very different, at least for me. For starters, it was more like an appetizer and light snack restaurant, although it looks like a regular Japanese restaurant. They have 2 other locations; one is in NY in the West Village.

Not my photo, but what I ordered. That 2nd one from the left was outrageously good! Spicy crab dynamite.

They were all good, though, and so interesting with all kinds of microgreens and other vegetables (unusual types).

We also had dessert--a Japanese style cannoli (sp?). Mascarpone, dark chocolate. Very small, though, but that's a good thing.

for dessert rocky road ice cream...not healthy but delicious. We first found Culvers in Wisconsin...and were thrilled to find that there are a couple in Cleveland. Happy Friday! And your food looks amazing.
