Sorry if this is indelicate, but it's about his regularity. He's never been "regular," and I think the pain made compounded the problem. Then we ran into a problem when we learned that the medicine they gave him to help w/ blood coagulation meant he couldn't eat a lot of the veggies that could have helped w/ keeping him "regular."
I think now that he's off of that medicine, things will get better.
I wish I could lock up all the food when I go to bed. He's a night owl and while I'm sleeping, he tends to eat things that he should probably be avoiding.
Thanks for the update. You put it rather delicately. Hopefully things will get better.
If food was locked up at night I'd be twenty pounds lighter.

As it's almost 90 degrees in here (no A/C), I'm drinking lots of iced water.

(22,767 posts)leftover from the night before with extra sharp cheddar, pickles and tomato, as well as leftover fried potatoes and some Brussels sprouts.
I was hungry at lunch time so I ate my leftover burger then with a slice of tomato, but after I got dinner ready for husband, I ate corn cut off the cob and some mint chocolate chip ice cream.
