(35,746 posts)Have no instant envelopes because I quit buying them; thought I'd learn to make my own low calorie hot chocolate.
However, I never did that.
Everytime I drive by McD's it's hard to keep the car from heading through the drive thru, but their hot chocolates have 450 calories.
This morning I took one serving of a Tony's chocolate bar (very good chocolate) and chopped it up. Put it in a mug with 2% skim. That's 170 + 120 calories, thus 290, a savings of 160 calories. It is now being steamed in the double boiler.

(22,767 posts)2 eggs OE, with a small piece of ham. Husband had one slice of seeded rye toast, I had two slices multigrain toast with strawberry preserves, but I ended up giving the dog (who is always lurking waiting for scraps) half of one of my eggs and most of my second piece of toast.
