What's for Dinner, Sun., May 9, 2021

Grilled chicken sausages wrapped in bacon. I have all kinds: garlic onion, sweet, hot, and even a chicken chorizo if that's possible.

Tossed green salad with lots of fresh veggies like red pepper, yellow pear tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and my FAV-0-RITE dressing now, Caesar.

For dessert: shortcake with strawberries and whipped cream.
Decaf coffee.

It's drizzling now and will soon rain, but it's supposed to be over by 5 so I'll do my grilling then. Will get the prep work done now.

1. I'll be grilling black and blue burgers in a bit.

Will have corn on the cob with that and a nice broccoli salad (I believe that's what my wife said). Should be yummy. She brought home some nice bakery buns from Publix yesterday for the burgers. We'll probably do tomato, lettuce, and onion with mayo, ketchup, and mustard on the burgers.

2. I baked a boneless chicken breast

after rubbing it with coriander, cumin, a bit of onion powder and brown sugar.
Sliced it and will place it on top of a prepared salad mix.
Decafe cold tea

3. Swedish meatballs

sour cream cake for dessert. It came out very good.

4. scicilian chicken, or oven crunchy chicken as my grandma called it. soda crackers instead of ritz.

6. Chicken quesadilla

I brought home leftover fried chicken from work and shredded it. Lots of veggies and cheese.

For dessert: one of our regular customers brought us boxes of home made strawberry doughnuts! I dropped a few off at my Mom’s house on the way home and saved a couple for myself. They are yummy! They bring us apple cider doughnuts in the fall, strawberry one in the spring. We have great regulars.
