Cooking at 130 for 8 hours. Will finish it on the grill. Serving with a potato leek gratin, white asparagus with a red wine rosemary sauce. Bogle Phantom to go with.

It's been a lovely Easter Sunday in the Catskills with streaming sunlight, a crystal blue sky and a light breeze.

Tomahawk lamb chops marinated in a Greek mix of flavors then grilled on a very hot grill.

Roasted vegetables including green, red and orange peppers, onions, scallions, jalapeños and endive marinated in olive oil, Balsamic vinegar and a splash of red wine. They were grilled in a basket.

Roasted red potatoes and a Greek salad.

Lime sherbet for dessert.

Have a great week, fellow foodies!

from the recipe in Saveur (which are sometimes ridiculously fussy), served over orecchiette (which was purchased at the more upscale of my town's grocery stores, but wasn't hard to come by). Also quick-pickled radishes and cucumbers, and a German style cherry cake for dessert.
