I don't know if this is where to discuss this

I've lost tons of weight in the last year. I know most people here are struggling to lose weight, but I think we can all agree that its not good to lose 60+ pounds in one year. Any suggestions on keeping weight on?

There might be something going on that would explain this.

I can't think what it could be, but if I were you, I'd do that first.

That is a lot of weight to lose in one year.

I lost 60 lbs in 6 months, but was trying to - 2 lb/week is considered fine if you are eating a balanced diet and working in sufficient activity. 60 lbs in a year - 1 lb/week - is fine. The real question - were you trying to, how over your ideal weight are you...if it is unexplained/unexpected, it is definitely indicative of a doctor visit.

there are some others who want to maintain. Some like you are trying to put some pounds on.

Your weight loss could be a good thing if you've been trying to lose and stayed strict to a way of eating that enables you to take the pounds off.

It sounds like, to me though that you're not happy having lost the 60 lbs and would like to gain a bit.

I would write down everything I can think about food related, stress related, work related that might cause you to either not want to eat or unable to eat.

Are you eating and unable to keep it down?

So many questions that a DR would ask. That's why I suggest you write down anything you can think of from the last year that has been a lifestyle change, take your notes to a DR and get a COMPLETE physical exam. A COMPLETE full spectrum blood draw and go from there.
He might suggest a nutritionist or dietician. Either way start with the Doctor. Go from there.

Again, welcome to the group.
Let us know how it's going, won't you?

I make a point to eat better and on a more regular schedule. My biggest problem, I think, was my work. Lots of long hours, no time for breaks. I'd eat when I could, but it was often 12 hours between meals. I quit that job because my body couldn't handle it.

Edit to add: Like a lot of people I could stand to lose 15-20 pounds before. But then I started losing the weight and everyone started gushing about how good it was.
