Just finished binge watching Foyle's War

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful series!

If you're looking for something new to watch and like historical or crime/police shows, you'll like it.

I avoided it for a long time because I was tired of British war things. But this completely different, and quite wonderful.

I didn't like the last season as much, when the crime drama morphed into a spy drama. I couldn't quite suspend my disbelief in the female M-like character. But even the last season was very good. A lot of ww2 history was alluded to. I wasn't previously aware of the British Freikorps in the Waffen SS.
