If you like cop shows
I recommend Detroit 1-8-7. Good stories and excellent characters set against the backdrop of Detroit. Some of the sets are fabulousbeautiful old buildings fallen into decay.

Another good cop series on instant is Luther. Idris Elba from the Wire is in it.

I also loved Prime Suspect. I don't get how they come to these decisions. Detroit 187 had a short life, and is a great show to rewatch.
