Related: About this forum‘Family’ Group Vows ‘Next Level’ Target Protest With Outrageous Anti-Trans Video
The ongoing right-wing backlash over Targets pledge to allow transgender patrons and staff members to use the restrooms which correspond with their gender identity isnt dying down anytime soon.
Faith2Action, a group which calls itself a pro-active launching pad for the pro-family movement, now hopes to go a step further by organizing a Dont Target Our Daughters Day protest just four days before the retail giants shareholders meeting on June 8.
Organizers want to designate Saturday, June 4 to be a moment to stand together and warn shoppers about Targets policy allowing predators and sex offenders into womens restrooms and fitting rooms by protesting outside stores.
In a Barbwire post, Janet Porter, Faith2Actions president and founder, said it was time to take action against Target for its pro-transgender vow.

If churches and 'religious' groups are going to get involved in this level of curtailing civil rights then it is time to tax the curches! These people have forfeited their privilege to be tax free in this country.

For religious groups such as Faith2Action and American Family Association, attacking trans people is about only one thing: donations. I get their emails and every one of them implores the reader to help them keep up the fight. They don't care if they slander trans people. They don't care if their rhetoric increases trans teen suicides. All they care about is keeping those three figure salaries for another few years till they are defeated at the Supreme Court. Then just like after they lost the battle for marriage equality, they'll be off to find a new demon to protect people against.
