The closest fast food restaurant to me is chick-fil-a and now I can't go there anymore. I knew there would be trouble when I received a styrofoam cup from them. I go there because they exist, not because their food is any good. This is going to be tough on those of us that think hash browns are one of the essential food groups.
I'm really torn, because they are WAY more friendly than Burger King, the place I went to, off and on, for over 20 years! Of course I knew there was trouble brewing at BK where the service was usually terrible. One time they ran out of hamburgers and the truck hadn't arrived yet. Often the coke machine didn't work and I always had to wait at the counter for a person to appear and take my order. I was glad when Chick-fil-a opened so close to me and BK became just a bad memory. Recently, the New York Times reported that BK was a cash cow for Wall Street shenanigans since 1968. Even Bain owned them at one point. BK has been ripped off by Fraud Street for years.
So now BK and Chick-Fil-A are dead to me. If it wasn't for potato chips, I'd probably starve.
