Outrage as Belfast synagogue target of two attacks by thugs

A window was smashed at the synagogue in north Belfast some time on Friday night or Saturday morning. A replacement window was then smashed on Saturday afternoon or evening.

Suspicions have been raised that the attack is linked to the current situation in Gaza.

Rabbi David Singer said the Jewish community had been left shocked by the attack.

12. No, dear, this is a continuation of a discussion

that tried to get through to him that Ulster is a completely different place and that broken windows in churches, temples, and mosques happen all the time as a result of drunken hooliganism.

There are very real antisemitic riots happening on continental Europe. Trying to diminish those by howling about ONE broken window in Ulster as though they were equivalent is the problem. This is not organized antisemitism as it is on the continent.

The whole world is not against you. Sorry about that.
