Over 20,000 tourists expected for Tel Aviv pride month

Over 20,000 tourists expected for Tel Aviv pride month

Tuesday, 28 May 2013 08:40 Alternative Information Center (AIC)

Over 20,000 tourists are expected in Tel Aviv during June for the city's Pride Month, which commences on 31 May. The planned month of parties and activities is the culmination of a slick public relations campaign by Israel's Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tel Aviv municipality and state-sponsored LGBT organisations in Tel Aviv to market the city of the "gay capital of the Middle East".
