“Israel has given Hamas a proposal through Qatari and Egyptian mediators that includes up to two months of a pause in the fighting as part of a multi-phase deal that would include the release of all remaining hostages held in Gaza,” Axios reports.

“While the proposal doesn’t include an agreement to end the war, it is the longest period of ceasefire that Israel has offered Hamas since the start of the war.”

No more lives should be lost or endangered on either side; but it is some dark and twisted reasoning to equate releasing hostages as ceding an advantage.

They don't need them to be alive. They have all the videos made with no dates. A live hostage is just a burden now, and they will tell what has been happening to them if they are released.

Come on, now....
