March 10, 2019 NH Labor News
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders visited the Granite State today as part of his newly announced campaign for President. His strong message of social and economic justice, ending the corruption in Washington, expanding healthcare, building a government that works for all people resonates well with many of the people in New Hampshire.

The principles of our government will be based on justice: economic justice, social justice, racial justice and environmental justice. Tonight, I want to welcome you to a campaign which tells the powerful special interests who control so much of our economic and political life that we will no longer tolerate the greed of Wall Street, corporate America and the billionaire class greed which has resulted in this country having more income and wealth inequality than any other major country on earth, Sander told the crowd gathered in Concord, NH this afternoon.

Its not just a grossly unfair economic system. Its a corrupt political system which is underlying American democracy. Together, we are going to create a political system which is based on the democratic principles of one person one vote and end a system which allows billionaires to buy elections. Yes. We are going to overturn Citizens United and move to public funding of elections.

Today, we fight for a political revolution.
