...who not only did more for real journalism than anybody on earth, when he gave asylum to Julain Assange, but is also, along with other leftist leaders in the new Latin America, fighting for public access to PUBLIC airwaves and against billionaire corporate "news" moguls controlling information and appointing governments.

We just learned that Faux News and Murdoch wanted to run General Betray-Us for president! Gawd. And that ain't the half of it, of course, as to corporate media coups, coup attempts, fraudulizing elections (there's a new word) and destroying democracy and "free speech" which they, with egregious "Big Lie" hypocrisy, claim to be essential to. Corporate "news" = the biggest menace to democracy outside of the corporate-run, 'TRADE SECRET' voting machines here. Another great fact: They don't have these diabolical machines in Latin America, though they do have corporate media that is even worse than our own.

Bust 'em, Rafael and Ecuadorans! Show us how it's done!

And profound thanks to the Journalism Faculty at La Plata University! They've taken shit for this award, from all the usual CIA-funded sources. They themselves deserve an award!
