This is the second time Peruvians have led massive demonstrations against the candidacy of the former dictator's daughter.
With widespread cries of campaign fraud and electoral injustice resounding in Peru less than a month before voters head to the ballot box, over 2,500 of Peruvians took to the streets Tuesday against presidential front-runner Keiko Fujimori.
. . .
Although this was the second anti-Keiko protest in a week, the candidate has still not commented about the event. The first time, she said that the protesters' demands were related to facts that occurred 20 years ago, and for which she denied any responsibility.
According to a new poll, Popular Force candidate Fujimoris support has dipped to 29 percent compared to over 35 percent in recent surveys. Peruvians for Change candidate Kuczynski has emerged as her clear rival with 20 percent of popular support.
