Gov. Scott Walker's law in Wisconsin will hurt the young voters Bernie Sanders banks on.

Now Sen. Bernie Sanders' opportunity may be hampered here too, thanks to Walker's new voter ID law that targets Bernie's bread and butter: college kids.

Imagine you're a kid from the Midwest who just moved to Wisconsin for your freshman year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. You don't have a Wisconsin drivers license, but you registered to vote online and have your student ID clipped to the red lanyard around your neck. You head to the polls super stoked to be part of the revolution with Bernie!

Then the polling place attendant hits you with a buzz kill.

Under Walker's arcane rules, student IDs at most of Wisconsin's 60-plus colleges and universities are no good, because they don't have the requisite signature or expiration date. Under the law, students have to go to a special office to get a new ID for voting. Even then, they must bring additional "proof of enrollment" to the polls, or they'll be sent packing.

This doesn't just affect bernies kids, it also affects the very large voter base in Wisconsin that are loyal Clinton supporters of the "youth voter block". And she has a big share of them.

So you see Bernie Sanders, WHY HILLARY RAISES FUNDS FOR UP & DOWN TICKET DEM CANDIDATES?!!!

Scott Walker is what you get when the only candidate you think of is Y O U!.
Maybe bernie will hear that message louder when he finds a great percentage of his young fans could not vote because Scott Walker has had no challenger to his multi million $$$ campaign to suppress the vote.

Why the F is this so difficult for a 25yr Senate veteran to understand the urgency of defeating the RW at all levels?

Its as though bernie sanders doesn't give a crap about getting the RW stronghold our of government.
Its becoming difficult to justify the purpose of his candidacy.

Perhaps Walker's voter ID suppression will cost bernie enough votes so he wakes the F up.

Well bernie, welcome to what happens to your young voter base when you fuckin do nothing.
When you sit there & let everyone else do the hard work for the survival of this nation..and all you do is hate & talk & lie & talk & feed your big ego with Stadium sized crowds for man-sized bragging rights, meanwhile everyone else does the hard dedicated work it takes to defeat the Republicans.
Its as though he could really care less if the Repubs are even defeated in the end.
Seems the only one he's consistantly damned through this capaign is the only one with the strength & integrity to defeat them.

Walker's voter ID laws will come as a reminder why Hillary works to defeat people like Scott Walker.

I'm sure GOTV groups are working on getting them ID's. Students are a different group and different behavior, i.e. Will they take the time and invest the effort to get an id? Don't know. I don't think so in big enough numbers to put Sanders across the line. Sanders leads by a margin within the margin of error. The voter id issue could easily throw it to Hillary by several points.
