Delegate counts have been updated.

Hillary 1,176, Bernie 855. Hillary +321. She needs 42.1% of remaining pledged delegates.

Which is good news for Bernie supporters, because yesterday it was 42.0%. (Or at least it was rounded to that.)

4. Another look at the numbers:

At this moment (and there are still a few outstanding delegates due to calculations), slightly more than 50% of the pledged delegates have been elected.

- Of those, Clinton has 58% of the pledged delegates elected so far, Sanders only 42%.
- Clinton needs only 42% of the remaining pledged delegates, Sanders 58%.
- Clinton only needs 850 more pledged delegates, Sanders still needs 1171 from an ever shrinking delegate pool.

This means that Sanders must get 58% of all the pledged delegates in each and every one of the remaining 24 states. Each time he fails to get at least 58% of the delegates in any state, that 58% number goes up. Even if he gets 57% of the delegates in a given state, the 58% goes up for all of the subsequent states.

Its looking increasingly unlikely that he's get 58% in any remaining state, much less in all of those states, and time is running out for Sanders.
