I really hope DU doesn't lose its damn mind when SC is called for HRC shortly after polls close

Somehow, I think an early call, no matter how appropriate to do so, is not going to sit well with some people. And, based on the way demographics have been breaking, I expect it to be called within an hour of the official vote tally starting.

God, the 27th can't get here soon enough. Going to be a happy two weeks for us between NV, SC and Super Tuesday.

I say it's called faster than the Republican primary was.

And no, there probably won't be too many mental breakdowns. You'll see a lot of "she underperformed!" and "Clinton is toast on Tuesday!" but that's about it.

One, she probably will underperform a bit. People are less likely to vote in blowout elections.

Two, well, we'll just wait for Tuesday, shan't we?

as if a million conspiracy theorists just experienced severe butthurt.

So you're probably right. We, of course, will be noting that the expected candidate won the expected race by somewhere around the expected percentage +/- 10%.

I mean, seriously, they're projecting a blowout in SC already, and that's before Clyburn.

that insipid twit Wolf Blitzer is getting too much air time. Even when Matthews is sucking up to Hillary you can see how much he hates her. Hayes has gone full Berniebro and Maddow will beat around the bush for 20 minutes before she tells the two minute story she was leading up to.

...as it starts to dawn on him that his "revolution" isn't going to happen--that it has been a fantasy all along that he has been selling to young, impressionable people. Will he do the responsible thing? Will he wholeheartedly get behind our nominee and use his influence to convince his supporters that he was just BSing when he mischaracterized Hillary Clinton? How will that wash out?
I think he is a little "out there" and actually believed he was going to be a real leader of a socialist-style revolution.
