I got a Samsung Galaxy 3 for Xmas. But....

..Don't know how to use it. Spent a very frustrating day flipping between the same two pages and Photographed myself 4 times.

If you have any tips I'd sure appreciate them, how do I download apps to it? From where? This is what I'd like to do:

Read my Kindle Books
Watch Movies on Netflix (Got that) Amazon Prime and Itunes
Play Solitaire and other games
Send/Receive emails
Stop the damn screen changing every few seconds!!

thanks for any help in advance,

Janny

I got one too and I do not know all the answer yet myself. I have managed to set up my emails by running the setup for the device. To play solitaire you will need to download an app. Got to the Goggle or Samsung app store ( I prefer Google) and look through the solitaire apps. There are free ones and ones that cost a couple of dollars. You just click on 'download' to download an app. Pick the one you like best. In fact, try a couple then decide.
To get the screen to stop changing, go into settings and look under Screen Smart to set it the way you want it.

That's where all the Android apps are. I got one a few weeks ago and am still exploring it even though I have a Samsung Note phone, it's a little different. I do love it! Give it time!

that was easy enough. Now, if I could just access my 'home' page at will I'd be pleased - it seems to appear randomly when it wants.
Heck of a learning curve - not like my laptop. I'll keep at it though. looks like it should be fun.
