I accidentally uninstalled something ... Hits head on desk.....[RESOLVED]

Last edited Sun Jan 10, 2021, 12:26 AM - Edit history (1)

I was uninstalling some unused programs and I accidentally deleted something beginning with AMD.

I noticed it as soon as I hit yes.

now I can't drag any pictures from my desktop into my email like I used to be able to.... like an hour ago.

Is this something I can reinstall?

HP Pavilion PC
Windows 10

Did you delete, or uninstall? It could be in your recycle bin. If it is, just hit restore. n/t brewens Jan 2021 #4

It is likely a driver that you removed. If you had created a restore point, u could restore. FreepFryer Jan 2021 #7

Use the search bar to find restore points. U may have done so.

Worse comes to worse, u may just want to find out what is missing and reinstall the relevant drivers.

Anyone have any recommendation on how icy can find the log that might contain the name of the file they deleted? This is the extent of my skill.

Don’t sweat it, u will get it fixed, or reinstall and get back to what u need to do. Breathe and don’t make it worse

You can reinstall the drivers

Which operating system are you running? Nvm ... I see you are using 10 ..

Still ... the question regarding graphics card is valid

Doggone this computer.
What's wrong, Fred?
Oh, it keeps doing what I tell it to do, not what I want it to do.
