next (and main) problem: photobucket

my photobucket account has been messed up for months, can't upload new photos and the main album page is all squished over to the left side of the screen. sorry I can't post screen shots - if anybody really needs them you can PM me for an email address and I could send them that way or get a friend to post them in his PB account...

help! the site seems to be completely messed up in my browser - firefox 9.01 windows 7 64 bit, my album page is compressed to the left of screen, some text is in odd white boxes - looks like dial-up timed out on page load but that is not it - strange

things worked last time I uploaded a photo, don't think I changed any settings

other websites look fine ???

thanks for the reply. attached are 2 screen caps from a few minutes ago. main album and the upload page. I cleaned cache/history/cookies again but it doesn't help. Other websites are fine.

Hi Kali,

Thank you for the screenshots.

Two things that might cause this. First, please check all of your extensions and add ons and make sure they are not causing this. Especially if you are running no script or some sort of privacy extension.

Next, lets make sure you have the newest version of flash.

If that doesn't work can you try uninstalling flash with the flash un-installer tool and reinstalling it? The link below walks you through how to do so.

Also, are you using firefox version 10? There are reports of flash issues with that browser version. We do know that firefox 10 is not working with our bulk uploader. Maybe try accessing our website with a different browser to see if it looks correct?

I updated flash and some other stuff from Microsoft that I needed to do and shortly after that the Photobucket Album page actually loaded almost right one day. I didn't have time to try uploading any pictures that day but afterward and continuing to the present it is back to the crappy way it looked in the screen caps I sent earlier.

Yes I am normally using Firefox 10.0.2 and I just tried to access with Internet Explored - it looks exactly the same. HELP!!!

The fact it looks the same in IE as well means that it is either your zoom setting or your antivirus.

First, lets try fixing your zoom. Navigate to the broken page and then hit ctrl 0. IF that doesn't fix it try holding down ctrl and taping the + key to zoom in and the - key to zoom out to see if you can get the page to look right. Ctrl 0 puts you back to your default zoom.

If that doesn't do it please try disabling your antivirus and see if that fixes the page.

Today I redid all of it - updated Firefox, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash, disabled MS Security essentials, cleared cache, played with the zoom- NONE of it fixed my PB album view.

the one really odd thing is about a month ago after doing updates it almost loaded right ONE time - it wasn't 100% but at least the thumbnails were in rows across the screen - the rest of the time since this started they are in one column down the left hand side of the page. Also placing my cursor on links at the top of the page doesn't work - can't get to the upload new photo page at all, although I could at first - it would show up funky and missing the actual upload button. I CAN right-click the thumbnails and get the image location to post a photo, but not much else. can switch albums but can't get to second pages of them or view all.
