I am totally in for this, its been on my bucket list forever, and since I daily get closer to "kicking" said bucket, I'm going out Aurora chasing tonight. We live in northern WA and need to find a clear view of the north as our home is pretty much in a forest...we'll find a pasture and hunker down with our cameras and some popcorn. If I take any cool photos I will share.

Watching the Mariners right now. Will go out later to watch the lights. Probably go up to Hansville.

(11,047 posts)Loads of people all trying to find a place to watch the light show. I've never seen so much late night traffic. The best shots I got were in my front yard looking straight up. Although I did get some very good shots further away from the city lights by traveling west into rural Jefferson county.
