Regional transit agencies are getting $580M in federal relief. Here's who gets what.

The Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) announced Thursday how $580 million in federal funding will be distributed among local transit agencies. The funding is provided through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA).

King County Metro will receive the most money, with almost $258.2 million going to the agency. Sound Transit will receive the second-highest sum, at more than $179.6 million.

Nine local transit agencies in total will receive funding. In addition to King County Metro and Sound Transit, the funds will be dispersed as follows:

$50 million to the Washington State Ferries

$35.4 million to Community Transit

$28.5 million to Pierce Transit

$14 million to Kitsap Transit

$8.9 million to Everett Transit

$2.9 million to Pierce County Ferry

$2.6 million to the city of Seattle
