Port Orchard's That One Place restaurant opens sit-down dining in protest
PORT ORCHARD As patrons lined up outside That One Place on Monday waiting for their first sit-down meals in weeks, Southworths Kris Curnutt recognized the risk she faced during the coronavirus pandemic.
Were early 70s, she said, queued with her husband Randy. Unfortunately, were in that category of probably shouldnt be here.
Still though, she and her husband felt good enough about the restaurants safety procedures to patronize the eatery in-person, saying they wanted to help keep That One Place in business.
One, we like this place, Randy said. Two, theyre open and were tired of this. Have you been to Costco or even Walmart? Whats the difference? Theres no difference. You can go in and buy a hot dog at Costco and youre close to people.

You can buy food at the Costco food court but you have to eat it elsewhere. At least that's the way it is at my neighborhood Costco.
