(26,760 posts)The district court hasnt even made the initial ruling - let alone had any appellate court uphold it.
This is primarily a question of whether the law can go into effect while the trial goes forward. I would have expected a court to pause the law given the imbalance in harms between that and letting it go forward
but it could be years before an actual decision from this case were to actually overturn Roe.
Of course
they could uphold it very quickly.
