Rick Perry wishes daughter happy birthday with throwback pistol-packing photo
This is Texas, y'all.
To celebrate his daughter Sydney's 30th birthday, former Gov. Rick Perry did what anyone would do — post a photo to Instagram. The photo he posted is of a tiny Sydney aboard a boat rocking a nice set of sunglasses and a big white hat with curly brown hair poking through.
Five hours later, Perry posted a second photo capturing Sydney at 21 years old, wearing a crown, clutching a dachshund and holding a gun.
The governor wrote, "21st birthday...nine years ago with her glock and her Lucy!! Happy Birthday Sydney."
