Pennsylvania Democrats swept all five statewide judicial races. Congratulations to Supreme Court Justices-elect Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty and David Wecht, Superior Court Judge-elect Alice Beck Dubow, and Commonwealth Court Judge-elect Michael Wojcik!

2. I Think

this is in part due to the PA Democratic party FINALLY waking up and putting some effort into getting out the vote. I haven't seen any turnout info, and I'm sure it was light, but for the first time ever I got several mailings and a robocall pointing out that this was a chance to turn the Supreme Court. I voted in this election as a direct result of that effort, as I usually don't vote in off-elections. That and the County Comm. race, as I am in Montgomery and wanted to make sure the momentum towards blue kept going.

4. I got robocalls from Senator Casey.

When democrats mobilize, we can win!

I am so encouraged to see our county government flip from red to blue. It's a great day!

Not the chronically ineffectual state democratic party.

The PA Democratic party definitely put more effort into getting out the vote. We had a number of calls, e-mails, and direct mailings. We also got postcards from local Democrats.

Let's keep up the good work!

I also received mailings, and I may have even seen billboards on the turnpike. They made heavy use of social media as well.

I always vote in every election, but it was nice to see them step up the GOTV effort.
