Cuomo (and challengers) on display at the State Fair

GEDDESThunder clapped and the morning storm fell heaviest just as Andrew Cuomo ordered his sausage.
It was 9:45 a.m., 28 minutes after the governor, accompanied by two of his teenage daughters, a contingent of aides and commissioners and a gaggle of cameras, began his annual tour of the New York State Fair. Cuomo huddled next to the stand the Gianelli company shares with Dinosaur Bar-B-Quetwo Syracuse-area stalwartssparsely covered by an umbrella, waiting as workers scrambled to serve one of their first customers of the day.
A man approached to take a drippy selfie. The commander of the governor's security detail stood unblinking as the thundershower ruined his dark suit. Onondaga County Executive Joannie Mahoney, a Republican and Cuomo ally, took off her shoes and walked barefoot through the puddles.
