Bill to liberalize marijuana laws has no Minnesota co-sponsors

The "CARERS Act of 2015" has been introduced in the Senate as S.683 and in the House as H.R.1538.

It would change the federal classification of pot from Schedule I (no medical use) to Schedule II (has medical use). That would lead to more research into pot's medical uses.

So far, the bill has no MN co-sponsors.

House co-sponsors:

Rep Conyers, John, Jr. (MI-13) - 3/26/2015
Rep Hanna, Richard L. (NY-22) - 3/26/2015
Rep Hunter, Duncan D. (CA-50) - 3/26/2015
Rep Lofgren, Zoe (CA-19) - 3/26/2015
Rep Nadler, Jerrold (NY-10) - 3/26/2015
Rep Norton, Eleanor Holmes (DC) - 3/26/2015
Rep Rohrabacher, Dana (CA-48) - 3/26/2015
Rep Young, Don (AK) - 3/23/2015

Senate co-sponsors:

Sen Boxer, Barbara (CA) - 3/17/2015
Sen Gillibrand, Kirsten E. (NY) - 3/10/2015
Sen Heller, Dean (NV) - 3/11/2015
Sen Paul, Rand (KY) - 3/10/2015

Please ask Senators Franken and Klobuchar and your Rep to co-sponsor.
