Got fired today

all because the state of Minnesota's Department of Human Services dropped the ball. I was to be fingerprinted as part of a background check. The MN DHS said they sent certified mail to my home asking me to be printed for a job check. They did!! To my old address!! I never received any notice about this from them via the phone or mail even though I put in a change of address 6 months prior to the letters being sent.
Where I was working has the same licensing laws. Because I failed to comply with the MN DHS fingerprinting request, I was fired by my longtime employer where I worked on the drug treatment unit. I had proof with me for the meeting that the MN DHS sent the letters to the wrong address. I had proof with me that I changed my address at the USPS. I got printed as well and showed them a copy of that. In the end it did not matter cuz the state told my boss to shit can me for non-compliance. The MN licensing division has more power than my boss. My boss does what they say. We always have to abide by the laws pertaining to vulnerable adults... She had to shit can me.
I loved the clients I worked with in this drug addiction tx ctr and I will be back as well.
I hired an employment lawyer and am suing the MN DHS for this bogus BS!!!!

One person told me at the DHS, I have to prove it, cuz they did nothing wrong.

I just got off of the phone with the person who started the background check mess I was put in that led to my being fired yesterday. This man gave me a tracking number after some wrangling with him. This tracking number is for the first letter sent to my old address. The second letter was not sent certified according to him. HUH?
Why anything as important as background check compliance is not of major importance to be sent certified is beyond my thinking. You would think they would want to get a signature on something this important. Hello?
This man seemed to be fretting because of what has happened to me over this incompetence. He was getting flustered and threatening with me on the phone over this issue of major importance. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said he is the supervisor. He started telling me I was harrassing him, so I told him goodbye.
After some digging I found the phone number for the MN DHS Licensing director at the MN DHS Licensing Division. In other words I found his main bosses number. I left her a message concerning this major mess created by the incompetence of her officer.
Oh yeah, the main person who jacked me up, told me he was expediting the fingerprint process so I can get my job back. I told him once again, I was fired, I will have to reapply, unless some heavyweights get involved to get me back on the drug treatment unit.
CERTIFIED MAIL IS CERTIFIED FOR THIS REASON > YOU HAVE TO SIGN FOR THE MAIL IN PERSON MAKING SURE YOU DO GET THE MAIL!!!!
