Metro Detroit didn't get massive snowfall we expected -- and here's why

(Detroit Free Press) Is that all there is?

The forecasts were all over the place, calling for anywhere from 6 to 14".

Hopefully they will plow the subdivision streets before the weekend. Then I get to dig out of what ever they plow up into the end of my driveway. Such fun.

..... but here in downtown Detroit I'm guesstimating maybe 4 or 5 inches, at most.
