Related: About this forumAuto Insurance in this state
I had been using Progressive until last fall when I switched to an online company called iMingle. I was/am only paying ~$67.00 a month.
The company was sold to Warner a few months ago and now they are pulling out of Michigan so I can't renew my policy. I have until 9/13 to get new insurance somewhere.
Progressive seems to be the best deal for me but it is still about $18.00 a month more than I have been paying. State Farm, Geiko, Esurance and others are all even more than that.
If anyone has a better option than Progressive I would love to hear it. I just started paying for Aflac and adding another eighteen a month on top of that other new insurance bill wasn't in the plan. Not that it would break me, I just hate paying more than I need to for stuff like this.
Thanks in advance for any help.

(29,876 posts)1. Check out Auto Owners. We saved a lot of money leaving AAA several years ago.
Lansing based company to boot.
Here is their web address where it appears you can now get an online quote:

Good luck.

I was looking at AAA. It isn't that much more expensive than the others.
Since I turn 50 next spring maybe I should be looking at what AARP does along the lines of insurance discounts for members and just suck up the extra premiums until then.
