We did it. We met and then blew past our grassroots fundraising goal of $10,000 before last night’s deadline.

With hundreds of donations -- like from Alfredo in Kensington who pitched in $10 and Barbara from Olney who pitched in $25 -- we are building a base of small, grassroots support that can take on whatever our opponents and Wall Street special interests throw at us.

This is a special campaign, it’s a chance to make history. And I’m so proud to have you all fighting alongside me. Together, we are going to keep this seat in the hands of a strong, progressive woman, ensure Maryland working families have a voice in the Senate, and turn the Senate blue so we can move the progressive priorities we all believe in forward.

We have important deadlines and goals coming up, and after seeing what we have done together I know we’re ready.
