Snow threat/promise keeps changing,

esp re: southern MD.

Forecast here, Calvert County, now, 11:30 p.m., 'snow showers' 5-6 a.m., 'snow showers, light snow, snow, light snow' 2 p.m. - 2 a.m.

expanded, 5 to 8 a.m, resume @ 2 p.m., til midnight rain/snow showers to 3 a.m.

The current forecast calls for 2-3 inches over the next 24-36 hours. Yesterday, it was supposed to be “unmeasurable.” I guess we’ll see.

We learned on our sailboat cruise that the forecasts are often useless for a specific location. We found it was more accurate for us to assemble our own data and radar then make our own assessments of what to expect. We only made a couple of miscalculations!
