Are you missing an adorable black lab in Kentucky?

This sweet adorable female black Labrador showed up at our door one morning. She does not belong to anyone in our area so we assume she may have been dumped. She is beautiful, has a collar with no tags and appears healthy. Maybe about a year old and weighs about 45-60 pounds. If no one claims her, we are going to send her to the shelter Monday or Tuesday morning, wait the five days for someone to claim her, get her checked out and ready for adoption, then we will adopt her ourselves. We think she is a purebred but not sure about this. She loves to play, not overly obedient but is getting better, appears to be house trained and has not pooped or peed on our floor. We are keeping her fed and warm. We are in South Central Kentucky in the Lake Cumberland area so if she is yours or if you know someone to whom she may belong, send me a mail via DU.

There's always a chance that she got lost in some legitimate way, and has owners somewhere else frantically searching for her.

It's great to know she's going to have a good home.
