Brownback’s arrogant stand on health reform

Governor Sam Brownback says he won't lift a finger to implement the health reform law upheld by the Supreme Court.

This seems to us the height of arrogance, irresponsibility and impracticality.

Yes, it is consistent with Brownback's previous public positions. Those positions were also arrogant, irresponsible and impractical.

The governor's refusal to do anything to implement the law before the November elections is:

• Arrogant, because he is defying the will of three branches of the federal government: Congress, the executive and the judiciary.
