I was pretty impressed. Still leaning Sanders, but MO'M has somewhat similar goals with some different approaches that seem very doable.
It is worth your time to check him out.

(12,336 posts)He is an impressive candidate but there was something about him that struck me as an establishment type. Maybe it was when he was talking about how taking up pitchforks is a bad thing. And I guess it is, in reality but something has to be done about the plutocracy we now live in.

(12,336 posts)Nor do I dislike him. I think he is a fine candidate. There was a guy who asked him about all the police shootings going on and O'Malley said that all these that are publicized are just the tip of the iceberg, there are many more that we aren't aware of. He also said that he would work hard to make sure these things stop.
He also said that minimum wage should be $15.00/hr., which seems to be the mantra (for lack of a better word) of all the Democratic candidates. He wants to rebuild infrastructure and he wants to create green jobs so that we can pass Mother Earth along to our children and grandchildren. These are all good things and I applaud him for them. Sorta sounds like Barack Obama and that's also a good thing. As of right now, however, I will caucus for Bernie and do so proudly. But believe me, if Sanders drops out or something, O'Malley is definitely my second choice. Good candidate and seems to be a good man.
