My wife just early voted in central FL. Said it was busy

When I went earlier two weeks ago I was one of about 5 there

She was routed out a back door then back inside to register. Once her ballot was printed there was only one open booth in which to vote. Had to wait for 5-6 others to submit her ballot to be scanned

3 votes from our household for Gillum, Nelson, and Thompson!

Scott has got to go!!! Nelson a cool old style Southern Dem. very kind and soft spoken. Clearly wild about his wife of many years. I met him 6 years ago when he was barnstorming with Jimmy Buffett. He danced with his wife while JB gave us a semi private show in an airplane hangar. Pay off for busting butt with local SemDems!

Early voting traditionally has favored Democrats, and that party surged to a 10,000-plus advantage Saturday, as the number of Democrats voting early exceeded those voting by mail. The total votes cast were nearly 4.4 million statewide.

Republicans are 41.3 percent of all early and mail ballots and Democrats are 40 percent. Independents and minor party voters are 18.7 percent.
