If you have a vote by mail ballot at home, fill it out corrrctly and mail it!!!
We are making progress in VBM, but do not delay!!
And fill out the ballot right so it won’t get rejected! https://thefloridasqueeze.com/2018/10/16/florida-vote-projection-model-day-6-small-gains-for-democrats/

1. I wonder if the hurricane
will effect voter turnout in the panhandle?

2. You would think it would have to.
Should be interesting to see what the GOP does. I imagine they will be busting balls to enable voting in the panhandle, while trying to discourage it elsewhere.

6. I'd think it would have an impact. Leon and Gadsden counties are dark blue in a sea of red up there
Those 2 should be fine since they are inland from where Michael made landfall, but Gadsden is a poor, rural African American populated county and Rick Scott and Ron Desantis would do nothing to help it.
However, hoping the other side doesn’t vote is not a strategy. We need to get out the vote like never before. |

8. I lived in Leon for about 16 years
and worked in Gadsden at the women's prison
![]() I hear you on a depressed vote.....but tbh (at this point), if it happens - and it's in our favor......well, any port in a storm. Those races are so close (nelson and gillum), and the latest polls - scary ![]() |

3. I worry about mail in ballots, they seem to be counted last if at all
The people who suffered through Hurricane Michael have no choice if they have lost their homes or are not able to return home yet.

4. I don't trust VBM
Many Democrats I speak to, do no trust this method. I have 2 questions- How would I know: 1) If my mail was received? 2) If my vote has been challenged for any reason? It seems as if here is where the crooks could easily mess with our votes.
Florida has many days of early voting, I think there is where we should focus our energy. Just my opinion. |

5. Completely agree but if anyone has one, they need to fill it out correctly and drop it off.

7. True
Are there any guidelines to help those who VBM?
I'm just very nervous about this. In 2016 the VBM request were essentially tied but the results showed thousands more Democrats decided not to return their ballots especially in Broward county (41,000) where I live. Hmmm. |

9. I prefer to vote early in person in repuke leaning regions of the city.
They see a white guy roll in and are less likely to screw with my vote.
I'll hit a library in the first few days of early voting. |
