Averill is connected to investment firm Brown Bros Harriman, but I don't recall how.

Harriman's banking interests including Union Banking (created in merger with Fritz Thyssen who was banker for Nazi Party) where Preston Bush was a director were seized by US Govt in 1942 due to their history of financing Nazis.
