I am really confused. In addition to being trampled at home, he could have been hit with either a foul ball or a thrown ball.

Looks cute until a tragedy happens.

I guess it was from 2002 and is important now that the boy is grown and playing in the ML (son of Dusty Baker).

He was the bat boy and ran out onto the field to get the bat while the ball was in play. JT Snow grabbed him at home plate to keep him from getting run over.
