(14,255 posts)And Maher let him basically run the show and interrupt at will, IMO.
Issa seemed intent on not letting Christie be talked about, too.

(16,411 posts)Maher always seems to let him get away with his shit. Wonder what the deal is there?
The best thing Issa said was on overtime, where he basically said Hillary was not directly to blame for Benghazi....but hed did throw the under sec of state under the bus.

(41,832 posts)So many times a challenger is fodder. This candidate looks like he could make it a contest.

(544 posts)Rove got Issa to finance the recall of then CA Gov. Gray Davis. Rove (being who he is) double crossed Issa and supported Aahhnold for CA Governor instead of Issa. To atone, Rove then helped Issa gain a seat in Congress. This is the same Congressional district that brought you Randy "Duke" Cunningham. I know; I used to live there.

(85 posts)Issa employs tactics reminiscent of the Spanish inquisition.
False and preposterous allegations, a fake, staged "investigation", selective
"leaks" of the proceedings replete with misleading, incomplete re-statements,
followed by an erroneous conclusion purporting to "prove" Issa's original allegations.
Issa should be wearing a black robe and pointed hood when he presides over his committee..
For a lighter take on his tactics (if that is possible) see
