I need a certificate of vaccination to enter Kenya next month. There is no place in the entire state of Arkansas that can provide the vaccine. I called the state Department of Health and they had no idea where to get one. So, I get to drive to Oklahoma on Tuesday.

last December we had to go up to Seattle to get one and then it cost 200.00 I had one as a child but my wife has never had one and we were going to Eritrea, Ivory Coast and Ethiopa.

totally inappropriate at the state health department, because they should have been able to direct you.

11. Passport Health in Little Rock is permanently closed. I spoke

with the Arkansas Department of Health two days ago and they had zero information. I called ALL of the clinics within 150 miles of me on their list and NONE have the vaccine.

P.S. That includes the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Only a limited number of clinics in the United States have the vaccine. Yellow fever vaccine is the best protection against yellow fever disease, which can be fatal.

Keep in mind that the nearest yellow fever vaccination clinic may be some distance away from where you live, and appointments may be limited. Contact the clinic ahead of time to make sure the clinic has the vaccine.

Because the LDS church sends their missionaries all over the world, they can be a good resource for where to get some of the more exotic vaccinations.
