Filming has begun on The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses, which will encompass Shakespeare's Henry VI Parts I, II and III and Richard III.
The first photo to be released shows Cumberbatch, best known as Sherlock Holmes, on horseback as Richard III.
Scott, who plays Holmes' adversary Moriarty, will appear as Louis XI.
The cast of the three-part drama will also include Sophie Okonedo as Queen Margaret; Hugh Bonneville as Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester; and Sally Hawkins as Eleanor, Duchess of Gloucester.

Perhaps finding Richard's bones buried in the car park will right that wrong, even if most of the murders that Shakespeare blamed on Richard are nonsense.
That said, I can't wait til it's released!

(1,945 posts)3. Original part of the series?
I was just looking for the first part of the Hollow Crown series last night. It's not on Netflix and I couldn't find a link or place to watch it anywhere else. Does anyone know if that part of the series is available anywhere now? I think the original set aired in 2012? Tom Hiddleston and Jeremy Irons were two of the stars in that part.
