I enjoyed the auction more with the new rules of no sharing and no pooling funds.

Of all the items, I'd have gone for the protein shake or the peanut butter myself. I think donuts or nachos would be the last thing I'd want to eat after no food!

Wasn't surprised the women stayed the course. Not an overly exciting episode!

1. I don't watch the show now but who is the guy they were showing in all the previews for last night?

He looked like a real jerk. (I know, could just be the editing.)

2. They made him out to be a beast!...

That was Troyzan. Gotta love the names! He was just reeling from the fact that he doesn't have much of an alliance any more and NEEDS to win immunity to stay alive. He calmed down a little after he won immunity but not before screaming and beating his chest and all that.

3. The auction was interesting...

..I'm STILL trying to figure out why Christina didn't outbid Troyzan for the challenge advantage...?

I intitally thought that Troyzan was going off his rocker, but as the episode wore on it became obvious that it was just his competitive nature. I think he is a decent bloke, and I can totally understand where he is coming from. He isn't 100% asshole like so many of the past "outcast Alpha-male the-whole-world-is-out-to-get-me" guys have been...

I think he has a real shot at peeling some of the ladies off from the Kim-Sabrina-Chelsea-Kat alliance and pull an upset...

One thing is for sure he won't go down without a fight, and that is always good telly....

At the moment the Kim-Sabrina-Chelsea-Kat alliance looks like being the final four with Kat being tossed aside late in the game...unless Kim or Chelsea get eliminated....

This has been a very frustrating season in many ways, from the fabricated nonsense that Colton embodied - totally fake and completely unnecessary, to TC's that completely boggle the mind as people vote as though they've never watched them game before, but as we get down to the nitty-gritty things are starting to perk up...

We shall see!!!

4. Christina didn't seem to understand the concept of an auction!

They all acted like the money was coming out of their pockets!

At least Troy showed some emotion! A lot of the players are too passive, imo. He's doing everything he can to stay in the game, and as much as I'd like to see him pull an alliance together, I don't think it will happen.

I have no idea what Tarzan is doing. Maybe he's tired and wants to go to the Ponderosa!

I'm amazed at the TC's, too! I don't know if the producers are egging them on but that's definitely not the time to mouth off! Just sit there and be quiet. And if Jeff asks you a question, LIE!

5. If Christina and Alicia smarten up (Tarzan, too)

and make a 4-4 tie at the next TC, they could each have a chance at final 4.

If they vote Kat, they'd have a good shot at a tiebreaker challenge.

They had a chance to make a move and pretty much blew it. I can't figure out Christina - is she playing for 6th?

did Christina even say three full sentences this last episode?

I think some people may want to take Kat to the end because they think she is mentally weak. She is young and naive.
